The Nokia Lumia 720 and 520 are being made to bring the Windows Phone 8 experience to more consumers. These phones will be launched in the countries, where people have low incomes, but want the WP8 fever. Of course, this doesn’t mean the Lumia 720 and 520 will be available only in entry-level markets, vise versa, we have already seen them listed at retailers of many top markets. Now they are said to land on Australia via Allphones. These phones have appeared in the retailer’s webpage, meaning their launch is a few weeks away.

Both devices were announced at MWC 2013 showing it’s quite possible to have a perfect performance on weak hardware. These handsets have nothing real to boast of, but they run Windows Phone 8, meaning they come with Nokia Collection pre-loaded apps that include Here Maps, Here Drive, Here Transport, Here City Lens and more. Unfortunately, these phones can’t provide the whole spec list of the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 due to hardware limitations. For example, you can’t find a wireless charging ability on the Lumia 520, but if you choose the 720 this feature will be supported too.

As for the wireless charging, Nokia Germany has started an interesting campaign,  those who will buy the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 between March 18 and April 1 will get a wireless charging plate for free.
