As we all know, Nokia has really tied it’s future to Windows. The good news for Nokia is that Q1-2013 WIndows phone shipments were up 53% from Q4-2012. Sounds great right? The only problem was is it was a 53% increase from a 1.9% market share number getting them to 2.9%. In terms of the share gain…it appears to have all come at the expense of the falling Blackberry line who fell from 6.8% to 3.0% in the latest tally. 93% of the share still goes to Andoid and IOS so no real threat from WIndows yet but it is at least gaining a share and future.
